About Sanskriti School, Delhi
Sanskriti School was established with the vision of providing quality education to the children of civil servants and defence personnel. The foundation stone was laid by Smt. Hemi Surendra Singh, Chairperson of the Civil Services Society, on May 30, 1996. The school officially began operations on August 12, 1998, and Mrs. Gowri Ishwaran took on the role of founder principal in 1999. Founded by the Civil Services Society, an organization formed by the wives of civil servants from various branches of the Government of India, Sanskriti School was initially created to cater to the children of All India and Allied Services officers and Defence personnel on transfer. Over the years, the school has expanded its admission policy and is now open to students from all backgrounds, regardless of their parents professions or government affiliations.
