Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as of last date of application):
TA Category (B.Tech/M.Sc./MA/MCA): Max 28 years
TA Category (M.Tech/M.E./M.S./M.Phil): Max 32 years
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/Women candidates
Educational Qualifications:
Minimum 60% marks or 6.5 CPI in qualifying degree
PhD in Engineering/Science: M.Tech/M.E. in relevant field OR B.Tech/B.E. with valid GATE/CGPA from CFTIs OR M.Sc. in related sciences
PhD in Science Departments: M.Sc./M.Tech in relevant area OR B.Tech/B.E. in related field
PhD in Humanities & Social Sciences: MA/M.Com/MBA/M.Sc./M.Tech in relevant discipline
Direct Admission (No Test/Interview):
B.Tech/BS from CFTIs (last 5 years) with CGPA requirement
Masterβs from IITs/IISc (last 5 years) with CGPA β₯ 8.5
Application Process
Pay the application fee online via SBI Collect
General/OBC/EWS: βΉ1,000
SC/ST/PwD/Women/Transgender: βΉ500
Fill out the online application form and upload the SBI payment e-receipt along with required documents.
Carry original documents during the test/interview (mark sheets, certificates, GATE/NET score, NOC if employed, caste certificate if applicable).
Shortlisting will be based on academic records, GATE/NET scores, and admission category.
Final selection depends on a written test and/or interview (as per department rules).
