To participate in the JoSAA 2024 counselling process, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Qualified JEE Advanced 2024: For academic programs (excluding preparatory courses) at IITs and ISM, candidates must have passed JEE Advanced 2024 and meet the "Performance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination" criteria.
Qualified JEE Advanced 2024 for Preparatory Courses: Candidates for preparatory courses at IITs and ISM must also meet the "Performance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination" criteria.
JEE Main 2024 Rank: Candidates must have a rank in JEE Main 2024 Paper-1 for BE/BTech programs at NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and Other-GFTIs. Additionally, they must have passed Class XII (or equivalent) examination* with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational subjects, and passed each subject individually.
JEE Main 2024 Rank for BArch/BPlanning: For BArch/BPlanning programs at NITs, IIEST, IIITs, and Other-GFTIs, candidates must have included Mathematics as one of the subjects in Class XII (or equivalent) examination* and passed each subject individually.
