About AIWC Academy Of Excellence, Jamshedpur
AIWC Academy of Excellence (AIWC-AOE) was founded on July 3, 2003. Initially established as a Hindi-medium primary school offering classes from Std. 1 to 5, the dedicated efforts of its founders have transformed it into a full-fledged Senior Secondary School, affiliated with the CBSE. AIWC-AOE is a coeducational institution managed by the All India Womens Conference (AIWC) Jamshedpur Constituent Branch, which includes representatives from Tata Steel, parents, teachers, and educationists. The AIWC Jamshedpur is affiliated with AIWC New Delhi, one of Indias oldest and internationally recognized NGOs, which has been working for the empowerment of women, children, and underprivileged groups, particularly in Jamshedpur, for over five decades. AIWC Jamshedpur manages several schools dedicated to providing quality education and holistic development. AIWC-AOE is one such institution. In addition to academics, the school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities to help children grow with strong moral values and principles. The school focuses on the overall development of each student, empowering them to reach their full potential and become self-confident, responsible members of society. Spread across more than 3.16 acres of land, AIWC-AOE consists of three sections the Bal-Vatika, Junior, and Senior & Senior Secondary sections. The school started with 498 students and 11 teachers, and today it has approximately 2,046 students and 81 teachers spread across 56 sections. AIWC-AOE follows the CBSE curriculum for both primary and secondary education and is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
