The Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES) is an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, providing education to the children of DAE employees up to the junior college level. With Atomic Energy Central Schools and Junior Colleges located across the country, AEES schools are affiliated with CBSE and various State Boards. AEES operates 31 schools and junior colleges across 14 centers, serving 27,287 students with a dedicated team of 1,165 teachers and 275 non-teaching staff. The student-teacher ratio in AEES is approximately 20:1. AEES has consistently achieved excellence in both academic and non-academic areas. The society has set new benchmarks through enhanced school libraries, computer-aided learning, improved sports facilities, multi-play equipment, and the introduction of adventure sports. In addition, the implementation of in-service training programs for teachers, advanced multimedia learning, and enrichment initiatives for students have contributed to its reputation for excellence.
