About Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Madurai
With the blessings of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogiji, the school was established in 2012 with the motto βKnowledge is structured in Consciousness.β It is a co-educational institution following the restructured 10+2 educational pattern of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, offering classes from Kindergarten to Std. XII. Transcendental Meditation, Yogasana, and Pranayama are key components of the curriculum. The school opened its doors on June 14, 2012, welcoming 116 students from Pre-KG to Std VIII, guided by a dedicated team of 19 teachers. While the inviting classrooms and excellent infrastructure attracted many, it was the nurturing care provided by the teachers that drew children from various areas. In the second year, the staff grew by 18 teachers, and the student body expanded to 414. Thanks to the relentless efforts of the management, principal, and staff, the school has flourished, now providing shelter and support to over 2,000 students. 905
