About Mount Carmel School Sector Chandigarh
Mount Carmel School, a Christian minority institution, is a senior secondary school operated under the guidance of the Mount Carmel Educational Society, Chandigarh (Regd.). Founded by a group of dedicated Christian educators, the school focuses on the holistic development—moral, intellectual, spiritual, and social—of both boys and girls. At present it has Over 2500 students on rolls, in classes Pre-Nursery to XII. The school is Recognized by the Department of Education U.T., Chandigarh and is Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), Delhi. The school has well qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers and boasts of excellent results in the All India Secondary School Examination conducted by the C.B.S.E. Besides laying emphasis on Academic Excellence the students are encouraged to participate in various co – scholastic activities, so as to develop their Thinking Skills, Social Skills, Emotional Skills, Literary and Creative Skills, their skills in Performing Arts & Fine Arts.
