About Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior
Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya (SKV) is an all-girls residential school located in Gwalior, a historic city in Madhya Pradesh, India. Situated approximately 300 km south of Delhi, the school is well-connected to major cities across the country. Founded in 1956 by the Late Rajmata of Gwalior, Srimant Vijaya Raje Scindia, SKV was established with the vision of educating the girl child in the newly independent India. It was her dream to provide progressive, modern education while empowering young girls to become responsible citizens. The school was inaugurated by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the then President of India, marking the beginning of its journey to blend traditional values with the spirit of freedom and progress. 444
