📖 About This Material

The NCERT Class 12 Study Planner 2026-27 is a useful preparation tool for students who want to organise their board exam preparation in a systematic way. It helps students plan their syllabus, daily study schedule, revision, previous year papers, sample papers, case studies and mock tests in one place.

NCERT has released the Class XII Sample Question Papers and Marking Schemes for the 2026-27 examination session for subjects including Accountancy, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, Entrepreneurship, Mathematics, Physics and many other subjects. These resources can be used along with a structured study plan for exam preparation.

What Does the Study Planner Include?
1. Student Profile

Students can record their basic preparation details such as:

Student Name
Class
Stream
Subjects
Academic Session
Target Score
Target Examination Date
2. Complete Syllabus Tracker

The syllabus tracker helps students monitor each subject and chapter. Students can mark chapters as Pending, In Progress or Completed and separately track their revision and test preparation.

3. Daily Study Planner

The daily planner helps students decide what to study each day. Students can record:

Date
Subject
Chapter or Topic
Planned Study Time
Actual Study Time
Questions Practised
Completion Status

This makes it easier to maintain a consistent study routine.

4. Weekly Study Planner

Students can set weekly targets for:

Syllabus completion
Chapter revision
Previous Year Questions
Sample Question Papers
Case Study practice
Mock Tests

At the end of every week, students can review their progress and identify pending topics.

5. Monthly Study Planner

The monthly planner helps divide the syllabus into larger preparation targets. Students can plan chapter completion, revision, PYQ practice and mock tests for each month.

6. Revision Planner

Revision is divided into different stages:

First Study → First Revision → Second Revision → Final Revision

Students can record the revision date for every chapter and identify topics that require additional practice.

7. PYQ & Sample Paper Tracker

Students can maintain a record of the previous year papers and CBSE Sample Question Papers they have attempted.

The tracker includes:

Subject
Year/Set
Attempt Date
Marks
Time Taken
Mistakes
Revision Status

NCERT 2026-27 academic resources provide subject-wise Sample Question Papers and Marking Schemes that students can use for practice.

8. Case Study Practice Tracker

Case-based practice can be tracked separately. Students can record the chapter, case study number, attempted questions, correct answers, weak areas and revision status.

This is particularly useful for practising application-oriented questions.

9. Mock Test Tracker

Students can record their performance in every mock test:

Test Number
Subject
Date
Maximum Marks
Score
Percentage
Time Taken
Main Weakness

Regularly recording scores helps students understand their preparation level and identify areas that need improvement.

10. Weak Topic Tracker

Students can maintain a separate list of difficult chapters and topics. Each topic can be classified as High, Medium or Low Priority and assigned a revision or re-test date.

11. Preparation Progress Dashboard

The planner also provides an overall progress view for:

Syllabus
First Revision
Second Revision
PYQs
Sample Papers
Case Studies
Mock Tests
Weak Topics

Students can use the dashboard to understand how much of their preparation is completed and what still needs attention.

How to Use the CBSE Class 12 Study Planner

Start by entering all your subjects and dividing the syllabus into manageable targets. Set daily and weekly goals, complete the planned chapters, revise them regularly and practise questions after every major topic.

Once the syllabus is covered, increase your focus on PYQs, CBSE Sample Question Papers, case studies and mock tests. Analyse mistakes after every test and add weak topics to the revision tracker.

For example, CBSE's 2026-27 Mathematics question-paper design includes remembering/understanding, applying, analysing, evaluating and creating, while the Physics design also includes application and higher-order competencies.
