Cleveland State University (CSU) is a public research university located in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Founded in 1964, the university began offering classes in 1965 after acquiring Fenn College, a private institution that had been operating since 1923. In 1969, Cleveland State University incorporated the Cleveland-Marshall School of Law into the university. Today, Cleveland State University is part of the University System of Ohio and has more than 120,000 alumni. The university offers more than 200 academic programs across eight colleges and schools, covering a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and professional fields.
