About MAKAUT Kolkata
Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) Kolkata is a public state university established by the Government of West Bengal in 2000. MAKAUT University was formerly known as the West Bengal University of Technology. MAUKAT has three schools through which the university offers courses, namely the School of Engineering & Technology (SET), School of Biotechnology & Biological Sciences (SBTBS) and the School of Management.
