About The ICFAI University Sikkim
The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Sikkimβwidely known as The ICFAI University, Sikkimβwas established under Section 4(2) of the ICFAI University, Sikkim Act 2004 (Act 9 of 2004), passed by the Sikkim Legislative Assembly. The University was officially notified through Notification No. 9/LD/2004 on 15th October 2004. It is recognized under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956 and holds the authority to award degrees as per Section 22 of the Act. ICFAI University, Sikkim is also a proud member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi, the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), UK, and enjoys consultative status with the United Nations ECOSOC.
