About Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences
Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) was established in 2014 after the formation of Telangana under the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences Act, with headquarters at Warangal. The University received necessary approvals from the Medical Council of India, Dental Council of India, Central Council for Indian Medicine, Central Council of Homeopathy, and Indian Nursing Council. KNRUHS began functioning in the 2016–17 academic year from a renovated block at Kakatiya Medical College. All colleges previously affiliated with Dr. NTR UHS were re-affiliated to KNRUHS from 1 June 2016. The University serves as an affiliating institution, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, super-specialty, and post-doctoral programmes in medical, dental, nursing, and allied health sciences. 1737
