About Nagaland University
Nagaland University is a Central University established in 1989 by an Act of Parliament, with its headquarters at Lumami, Zunheboto. It has campuses across the state, including Kohima and Medziphema. The Kohima campus, located at Meriema about 10 kilometers from the city center, spans 240 acres. It houses 16 departments and 2 centres, serving around 300 undergraduate students, 1,000 postgraduate and doctoral students, and research scholars.
