About The Global Open University
The Global Open University, Nagaland—established by the Government of Nagaland—is a State University created through The Global Open University Act, 2006 (Act 3 of 2006), passed by the Nagaland State Legislative Assembly. The Act received the Governor’s assent on 30th August 2006 and was officially notified on 18th September 2006 via Notification No. Law/Act-10/2006. The complete provisions of the Act were subsequently published in the Nagaland Official Gazette on the same date for public information. 1397
