National Institute of Technology Manipur (NITMN) was established in the year 2010 by the government of India. NIT Manipur started with only three branches of Engineering, namely - Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering at the Government Polytechnic, Takyelpat Campus.
