Apex Professional University (APU) is a Statutory University established by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh vide Act 07 of 2013 and recognised by the UGC, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi u/s 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956 as State Private University. Apex Professional University is empowered to award degrees specified by University Grants Commision (UGC) under section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. APU is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi and also approved by regulatory bodies like Council of Architecture (CoA), Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE). 165
