About Martin Luther Christian University
Martin Luther Christian University was established through Act No. 11 of 2005 passed by the Legislative Assembly of Meghalaya and received the Governor’s assent on July 6, 2005. It was officially notified by the Government of Meghalaya on February 22, 2006. The university functions in accordance with the UGC Act, 1956 under Section 2(f) and is empowered to award degrees under Section 22 of the same act. The university is committed to community development and actively collaborates with government bodies, NGOs, community groups, self-help organizations, and industry partners to create meaningful and sustainable impact.
