About University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya
Education Research and Development Foundation (ERDF) is a charitable trust registered under the Indian Trust Act 1882 and the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. Headquartered at ERDF Bhawan, Lalmati Road, Guwahati, it stands as the largest and fastest-growing educational network in Northeast India, offering education from KG to PG to PhD. ERDF serves around 9,000 students, with 20 percent from underprivileged backgrounds. The network includes 65 courses, 36 departments, and 7 research journals, and has produced nearly 22,000 graduates, with more than 17,000 alumni contributing across sectors nationwide. ERDF institutions include Central Public School Patharkandi, Central Public School Badarpur, and the Regional Institute of Science and Technology, established in 2009 and affiliated with North Eastern Hill University.
