About Cluster University of Jammu
Cluster University of Jammu was established in 2016 under the Srinagar and Jammu Cluster Universities Act as a state public university under RUSA to upgrade existing colleges. It is a multi‑campus university comprising five constituent colleges, including GGM Science College, MAM PG College, SPMR College of Commerce, Government College for Women Gandhi Nagar, and Government College of Education Canal Road. CLU Jammu offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs across arts, sciences, commerce, social sciences, education, and technology. Recognized by the UGC, the university follows a structured governance system with a University Council, Academic Council, and Finance Committee. It emphasizes quality education, research, and flexible learning through schemes like the Academic Bank of Credits.
