About Kerala University of Health Sciences
The Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) was established under the Kerala University of Health Sciences Act, 2010 to ensure proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training, and research in Modern Medicine, Homoeopathy, and Indian Systems of Medicine, including Ayurveda, Siddha, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, and other allied sciences. The University also aims to bring uniformity to various academic programs across medical and allied disciplines in Kerala. KUHS is located in Thrissur, Kerala. The University is responsible for affiliating all colleges and institutions in Kerala that offer professional education in healthcare. To date, 296 professional colleges have been affiliated with KUHS. 1704
