National Institute of Technology Uttarakhand (NIT UK or NIT Uttarakhand) was founded in 2009 under the Act of Parliament by the Ministry of Education. NIT Uttarakhand- one of the thirty-one Institutes of National Importance. NITUK is the Technical Education Hub in the Green and Clean Lap of the Himalayas, precisely located in the state of Uttarakhand. NIT Uttarakhand has initiated the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) for the benefit of the students, community and the nation as a whole.
