About Smt. Manjira Devi University

The Smt. Manjira Devi Shikshan Avam Prashikshan Sanstan has established a new university in Hitanu Dhanari, a historic Himalayan town on the banks of the Bhagirathi river in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Its aim is to provide quality technical, scientific, and vocational education with essential skills to boost socio economic development and reduce youth migration. The initiative reflects a strong commitment to empowering future generations by helping them overcome economic and social challenges, geographical barriers, and by reviving the cultural identity tied to local natural and human resources.
