About Aryabhatta Knowledge University
Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna was established by the Government of Bihar under the Aryabhatta Knowledge University Act, 2008 (Bihar Act 24 of 2008). The university was created to affiliate and support institutions set up by the government or private trusts in both traditional and emerging fields of professional education, including Engineering and Technology, Information Technology, Nanotechnology, Biotechnology, Management, Medicine, Public Health, Pharmacy, Optometry, Nursing, Education and Law. It aims to promote excellence in teaching, research and extension activities across these areas.
