About BIT Sindri
Established in 1949, Birsa Institute of Technology Sindri, Dhanbad is a prominent government technical college in India, comprising ten academic departments. The establishment of BIT Sindri was initiated by Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the former President of India. BIT Sindri offers courses approved by AICTE. BIT Sindri offers total of 26 courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. BIT Sindri courses are available in the streams of Engineering and Architecture.
