About Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University

Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University was established by the Government of Jharkhand on 3 October 2016 and is recognized by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. It is the first university of its kind in Jharkhand and the third in India to offer certificate, diploma and degree programmes in police science and internal security. Until the new university campus becomes fully operational, academic and administrative activities are being conducted from the Old Judicial Academy building located in the SKIPA campus on Meurs Road, Ranchi. The permanent campus is under development across 75 acres near Khunti, approximately 30 kilometers from Ranchi, and is planned to provide modern facilities for training, research and specialised security education.
