Christ Nagar College is one of the youngest and fastest-growing colleges located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It started in 2012. This is an affiliated college located on a 37.50-acre campus, providing a number of courses to carve young talents. So the central piece of any academic infrastructure has to be a library with a rich stock of books on multiple topics such as literature, commerce, management, computers, physics, and journalism. Facilities for the physics department include a spacious laboratory where all the experimental arrangements have been made and all those prescribed by the University of Kerala are available to perform individual experiments.On the cardiovascular system, the college also avails transport facilities whereby eleven buses are used to ply different routes in order to facilitate transport of the students and staff. That apart, the campus facilities available for students are an internet connection for computing all around the campus; a sports room where students who are interested in building up their bodies through exercise can do so; and a health centre that has several first aid facilities. Christ Nagar College currently has 14 courses listed altogether, consisting of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. It offers full-course education in all disciplines and fields to accommodate the studentsοΏ½ different academic focus. These are some of the best of the undergraduate streams, and they consist of B.Com. Computer Applications, BBA , BCA, and BA English Literature , with a strength of 60-70 students each. The college also provides some professional-orientated courses such as B.Sc. Physics and Computer Application, B.Sc. Statistics, and B.Sc. Psychology. In postgraduate programmes, the students can do M.Com. Finance , MA English Language and Literature, M.Sc. Computer Science , and social work. The course offered at Christ Nagar College also follows merit-based admission in order to encourage deserving students in the various fields of their endeavour. Finance programme clearly mentions that the admission is merit-based. In addition to academic education, Christ Nagar College has some other utilities for students as follows: The college has its own spacious cafeteria with a seating capacity of 300 with quality and hygienic food preparation.
