About IIM Ahmedabad Online
Prof. Bhasker completed his PhD and masters degree in Computer Science from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, USA, and earned his Bachelor of Engineering from IIT Roorkee. Before taking charge as Director of IIM Ahmedabad, he served as a Professor of Information Technology and Systems at IIM Lucknow. He also held several leadership roles, including Director of IIM Raipur from March 2017 to March 2022, Acting Director of IIM Lucknow from July 2015 to November 2015, and Mentor Director and Nodal Professor at IIM Sirmaur in 2015. His transformative work at IIM Raipur earned him the Best Director of Business Schools award for building an excellent workplace and driving significant institutional growth. He has held multiple international academic positions such as International Expert Advisor at the University of Tenaga Nasional in Malaysia, International Expert for Research Grants at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, Visiting Professor at ESSEC Business School in Paris, Distinguished Professor at Chung Ang University in Seoul, Research Professor at the University of California, Visiting Professor at the University of Texas, and Adjunct Faculty at the University of Maryland, College Park. 1495
