The Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, a Deemed to be University, began in 1950 as Gandhi Vidya Mandir in the rural desert of Sardarshahr. From a small beginning, it has grown into an institution offering education from primary to post-doctoral levels. Recognized as a Deemed University in 2002, it is now a vibrant center of research and academics rooted in strong values. Founded by Shri Kanhaiyalal Dugar, inspired by Gandhian ideals of humanism, non-violence, and service, the institution promotes compassion and social upliftment. Its mission is to develop students with critical and creative thinking, preparing them to question deeply, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to humanity. 1512
