About Vishwakarma University
Vishwakarma University Pune is an extension of the Vishwakarma Group of Institutions, which has a strong educational legacy of more than 35 years. Established in 2017 as a State Private University through a Maharashtra Government Act, VU is approved by the UGC, giving it the authority to design its own curriculum, conduct examinations and award degrees. The university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities in New Delhi. In the Times Higher Education Global Impact Rankings 2021, VU was listed among the top institutions worldwide, featured among 1200 universities across 98 countries. These rankings evaluate institutions on their performance toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. VU has also been recognized as an Emerging University by ASSOCHAM. 1344
