About Indian Institute for Human Settlements (IIHS) Bengaluru and Kengeri (constituent unit)
The IIHS (Institution Deemed to be University) is set to launch four Master’s programmes and a Doctoral Programme in 2025, all focused on urban research and practice. Built on the vision of the NEP, the University places urbanisation at the centre of a new interdisciplinary learning ecosystem that integrates teaching, applied research, and real-world engagement. Rooted in India and the Global South, IIHS offers globally benchmarked curricula, innovative pedagogy, and an inclusive approach.
