The Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad (IITDh) is one of the third-generation (3G) IITs established by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India. Founded in August 2016 under the mentorship of IIT Bombay, IIT Dharwad embarked on its academic journey in the 2016–17 academic year with the launch of four-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) programs in Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical Engineering (EE), and Computer Science & Engineering (CSE). 1077
