About Krantisurya Tantya Bhil Vishwavidyalaya

Krantisurya Tantya Bhil University (KTBU), Khargone, was established by the Government of Madhya Pradesh to strengthen higher education in the region. Named after the freedom fighter Tantya Bhil, the university aims to provide quality higher-education opportunities to the youth of the Nimar region and surrounding districts. Recognized under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission (UGC), KTBU affiliates around 80 colleges offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including BA, B.Com, B.Sc., B.Sc. Agriculture, MA (Economics), and PGDCA. A 127.56-acre campus has been allotted on the Khargone–Indore road, with plans for infrastructure development supported by a state-approved budget of ₹150 crore.
