Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University (MCBU), Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh, was established on 9 July 2014 by an Act of the State Legislature. Recognized under UGC Section 12B, the University aims to promote quality education, research, and skill development in the Bundelkhand region. MCBU offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programmes across arts, science, commerce, management, and social sciences through its 22 teaching departments and 21 research centers. The University affiliates around 196 colleges across multiple districts, providing broader access to higher education.
