About Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University

Madhya Pradesh Ayurvigyan Vishwavidyalaya (Medical Science University) is the governing body for all medical, dental, nursing, paramedical, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, and Yoga colleges in Madhya Pradesh. The University oversees approximately 271 colleges with an annual intake of around 23,800 students. It exercises superintendence and control over affiliated colleges to ensure uniform standards of academic excellence and effective administration in teaching and learning of health sciences. Established under the Act notified by the Government of Madhya Pradesh, the University aims to maintain high-quality education, promote research, and standardize professional training across all health science disciplines in the state, ensuring holistic development of students and advancement of medical and allied health education 1718
