About Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University

Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University, Bathinda, established in 2015 by Punjab Act No. 5, is an affiliating technical university recognized by UGC under section 2(f). It was created to address regional imbalances in technical education and meet the growing demand for skilled manpower in eleven districts of Punjab, including Bathinda, Barnala, Faridkot, and Patiala. MRSPTU aims to provide, promote, and enhance quality technical education, research, training, and entrepreneurship in close collaboration with industry. The university follows AICTE and UGC standards while offering M.Tech and Ph.D. programs, skill development certificate courses, and pharmacy programs. It also seeks to generate resources through consultancy, testing, continuing education, and national and international collaborations. 1628
