Rathinam Technical Campus Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, is one of the leading technical institutions started in the year 2011. Being an affiliated college situated in Eachanari, Coimbatore, it has made name for delivering excellent education in the stream of engineering and management. At present, the engineering institution of RTCIT is ranked in the NIRF 2024 rankings as 201-300 institution and is accredited by NAAC. The campus is a spacious one that covers an area of 4.16 acres and has a strength of students enroling in its programmes at 799 and faculty members at 170. As a result of 15 courses provided in 4 degree programmes, RTCIT focuses on various specialties to have a student population of 1,596, where number of undergraduate student is 98% and postgraduate is 2%. RTCIT offers a range of modern qualitative facilities for improving the studying process and the result of its students. Boys and girls have different hostels of their own having free wireless internet facility and round the clock security system. Knowledge centre is well equipped central library that has a stock of over 9,000 volumes, 42 journals and 13 magazines. The college has developed the gymnasium and sports area with a cricket pitch, nets for practice, basket ball court and other sports facilities. The technological infrastructure is efficient including 45 Mbps campus wide wireless connectivity. Students are privileged to learn in smart classes which includes digital projectors and audio systems and scientific practical scenarios facilitated by advanced laboratories. It also includes a large auditorium, a clean and a diverse food court, and a health care facility in the campus. RTCIT has developed a broad course offering, with more emphasis on full qualification programmes. The institute offers 11 undergraduate programmes and therefore the major ones are B.Tech Information Technology and B.Tech Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. At the postgraduate level, the courses offered in RTCIT are MBA, MCA and specialised M.E. There is a total approved intake of 1266 across all courses with the maximum intake of 180 in B.E. Computer Science Engineering and B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Total Number of Seats Admission procedures in the RTCIT school are open, competitive and based on merit. For undergraduate engineering, the intakes depend on TNEA counselling, it is the examination of 10+2 marks. MBA and MCA courses accept TANCET scores for admissions to postgraduate level.
