Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr. Sagunthala R & D Institute of Science and Technology

Vel Tech was established in 1997 by Founder President and Chancellor Col Prof Vel Dr R Rangarajan and Foundress President Dr Sagunthala Rangarajan with a vision to create model citizens contributing professionally and socially to the nation. The university offers high quality education with well equipped infrastructure, competent faculty, and a variety of co curricular and extracurricular activities for holistic student development. Vel Tech provides 21 undergraduate and 17 postgraduate programs along with PhD courses in engineering, technology, management, arts, science, and law. Around 14,000 students and 753 PhD scholars benefit from industry oriented courses, global collaborations, internships, higher study opportunities abroad, and strong placement support in reputed core and IT industries.
