About Tamilnadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University
Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University (TNDALU) was established in 1997 by the Government of Tamil Nadu as the state’s exclusive law university. Named in honour of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, it serves as the governing institution for legal education and the affiliation of law colleges across Tamil Nadu. The University is recognized by the UGC and the Bar Council of India. Its main campus houses the School of Excellence in Law (SOEL), which offers 5-year integrated law programmes, a 3-year LL.B., LL.M. specialisations and Ph.D. programmes.
